My 8-year-old son has been taking chess classes here since last year, and we’ve been really happy with the experience. He’s learned so much and really enjoys going every week. Before enrolling him, we did some research and found that the schedule worked perfectly with his school hours. We also looked into the instructor, Mr. Evan, and were impressed to learn that he’s a chess grandmaster who’s won many tournaments. That really sealed the deal for us.

As a nanny I have been to a lot of different afterschool programs and schools. I bring my two boys here for chess classes. This is one of the cleanest and child friendly places I have been to and located conveniently from everything. The classes themselves are every interactive and my boy's parents are really proud of them learning such unique and complex techniques in such a small age. I have recommended other parents and nannies here as they have many different classes for all age groups.

CPAD NYC is an incredible school in the Flatiron District offering creative classes for kids! My child loves the chess and fashion design programs. They’re unique, fun, and taught by amazing teachers who really know how to inspire students.

Very experienced teacher and clean environment! My daughter loves the classes. We signed up for the whole semester right after our trial class.

STOP. This may be the most important thing of your day to read. This place is SPECIAL; your children are in a class with a teacher that teaches more than dance. It was our daughter’s first real “teacher” and boundaries, focus, and everything that is tough to teach as a parent! We enjoy the Halloween, Taylor Swift, and recently, Valentine’s Day events they throw! We haven’t had a chance to do their chess, acting, and other classes, but we are super excited for it!!
