Barnes & Noble | Philadelphia County, PA

This place is so nice. The two floors really is fun to explore and just makes the selection seem so huge. The displays they have are super pretty and overall there’s a great variety of things. I love the lego section too! It’s super fun and a great walk around.

Unfortunately, the size of the store is just a shadow of its former self and overall too small for a city like Philadelphia. They also doesn't keep up with the seasonal promotions which grants fair prices in more than half of the B&N stores. The book selection is adequate for the smaller size, however there are barely any additional products (records, board games, etc.). The staff is mostly helpful, however easily overwhelmed and/or distracted. The store feels understaffed on busy days.

I like to browse books and shop here! I got my copy of Sunrise on The Reaping here, and bought three books today, the staff is just amazing, they are super kind and some have really good and specific book recommendations! Sometimes they have authors in stores to do book signing or reading, there’re some good armchairs on the second floor too.

I'm starting a book club!!! Also finding new hobbies for my daughter and myself. Barnes & Noble is one of my favorite bookstores for our ventures like these♥️
