About this class

If you're wandering down Atlantic Ave, swing by the little gym, where your kiddos can bounce, tumble, and make new pals in the heart of Brooklyn!

The Little Gym is basically where you go when you want to feel like you're doing something good for your kiddo's development while also getting a bit of a workout yourself - win-win, right? They're really into the whole "serious fun" thing, which sounds cheesy but actually works out pretty well because your little one gets to tumble around on safe equipment while you're doing more than just sitting on the sidelines scrolling your phone. The classes have actual structure with songs, basic gymnastics moves, and all those sensory activities with balls and bubbles that make toddlers lose their minds with excitement, but it's not so rigid that you'll stress if your kid decides today is the day they only want to roll down the same mat seventeen times. Plus you'll probably end up chatting with other parents who also thought they'd have more energy for this parenting thing, and honestly, sometimes that adult conversation is worth the class fee alone!

Families love how their little ones come home excitedly sharing new moves they learned in class, turning living rooms into mini-gymnastics studios.

Can not say enough good things about this place. My son started with drop in classes and we transitioned into members, best decision. Very pricey but worth it. He absolutely loves coming here and exploring the equipment and meeting an occasional friend. There is also a diverse group of children attending which I really like. The staff are welcoming and his teacher is very sweet accommodating and creative. Guardians must be masked and vaxxed which I also like.

My daughter sprained her ankle there and instead of trying to help her they pushed her to continue and then failed to watch her again. I pulled her out of the class limping. She fell off a beam because no one was helping or guiding her. This is not a well organized space for little ones. Often the kids run around without adults watching on advanced gym equipment or sometimes classes have been understaffed - as a parent watching the class it feels like a constant accident waiting to happen. I have felt this way since we signed up but stayed on since my daughter enjoyed running around but when she finally got hurt I regretted it. If you’re looking for something supervised this is not the place.

I signed up my 4 year old daughter for the summer gymnastics package and she loves it. Her teacher is so patient and kind and we are always excited for her class. The ladies at the front desk is extremely polite and always have a smile on their face, they greet you graciously every time. This is my child’s first gymnastics class and we are so happy that it’s a wonderful experience. We definitely recommend them.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Kids learn real gymnastics and make friends for life. All the staff are friendly, energetic and knowledgeable about their craft. Miss Heather is my child’s particular favorite :) she really helped my child come out of her shell. The virtual classes they are doing for members have been great and we can’t wait for them to re-open and we can see everyone in person. Our family just want to thank all staff for their hard work during these tough times.
