I've gone to two sessions and will continue. The instructor is very diligent about ensuring that each person strives to get into the correct position. The foundations class is challenging, but feasible for a beginner like me. I'll be sticking with it!

Becky Lloyd is a phenomenal yoga teacher. She is very good at explaining and demonstrating postures. She will say and demonstrate “not this but this." It all makes so much sense and gives us at least the idea of what we should be striving for. She shows the poses from different angles (front view and side view). Becky is also adept at providing individual instruction (Harley, move your left heel out a little more) without interrupting the flow of the explanation of the pose. So, if you want to learn yoga or get better at it, I highly recommend Becky Lloyd and Audubon Yoga.

I had back problems for about one and a half years to a point where I had to drag my foot behind me to walk. That’s over 100 physical therapy sessions, over 100 chiropractor visits, weekly massage, dry needling and the occasional accupunture. Nothing worked. And it took only 1 Iyengar class to relieve my pain entirely. I couldn’t believe that I didn’t have any pain for a whole week and I have gained full mobility instantly just like that after one class. I mean... I thought this would only happen in movies...right? I am not new to yoga. I practiced Kundalini and a bit of flow before, however my experience with Iyengar was much different. Next day I was sore on the muscles which I didn’t even know that they were there. Now it has been several months I have been practicing Iyengar on my own everyday and once a week with the class. My back feels solid as long as I keep practicing. I just have to keep up with it. I sit a lot for work so if I let my Iyengar practice go for a few weeks my back reminds me my priorities. I have only done classes with Solange. She is very knowledgeable, attentive, and she truly cares for your wellbeing. I am eternally grateful for her kindness. I am confident that this studio will help you achieve your goals whether they are physical and/or spiritual.

Becky is one of the best Iyengar Yoga Teachers under whom I have studied. I moved from Nola 6 years ago and I miss you Becky.

Great place to learn! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful for any level. If you have an injury, the teacher will modify positions to insure the exercise can still be felt. I recommend highly to anyone.
