About this class
Families love how their little ones can't stop talking about their swim classes, with some even making it to regionals—what a proud moment! It's the kind of place where every splash is a step towards confidence!

It's the Y. So the prices are cheap, patrons are old and have no gym etiquette. You'll be terrified they'll fall over dead at any second, which in death, still take up the machine you need. The weights are old Ivanko steel plates, which are heaven. The weight room is small. You're going to have to wait for the 45 year old man to finish using his 3 sections of equipment at the same time. You'll also have to put away his weights as they'll just leave them anywhere, but the rack. It's the cheapest gym in town with a pool. So, if you have the mental fortitude and constitution of a rock or simply dont care, this place is for you. Also, I once saw a 350-pound man blow dry his ass crack with the hand dryer. He looked at me as if I was encroaching on his post shower ritual and promptly stared at me until I was done washing my hands, something else he was confused by. So, if you are a germaphobe, your worst nightmares are here.

Membership is too expensive. The membership is the same rate as a 24/7 gym, but the Y closes early on Fridays and Weekends. They increase the price of membership but decrease gym hours. They lock the facility 30mins before close. Management doesn't do their basic responsibilities. Gym equipment is always out of order usually for months at a time. Things rarely get fixed or they wait till the last minute. When people disrespect equipment, staff doesn't mitigate the issue thus more broken equipment. Gym equipment isn't managed well, cables are old and worn out. You pay for a membership but aren't guaranteed a parking spot because families with kids in sports take more than one car and invite relatives that take up more spots. Variable hours. They close at 9pm when it's sports season. When it's not sport season, they close at 7pm. Sports people get in for free and utilize the gym till 9 Where paying member only get to use the gym till 7pm. During school season, kids will occupy the gym as if it's their babysitter and staff doesn't do anything about the disturbance.

Items were stolen by faculty after lock (I purchased from them) was removed without proper notice. I requested a replacement lock and found it unacceptable that there was no accountability for this incident. Would not recommend Morning staff/ upper management.
