The Nesting Spot for Birth and Beyond, LLC | Santa Clara County, CA

We love this place! It's wonderful to have a local space for pregnancy and parenting. My husband and I attended a birth prep class here, from which I left feeling super confident! That confidence endured through my unexpected induction and the entire birth process. Since our baby was born, I've come to baby and me yoga and we've also taken the TummyTime Method! class. Every class we've had has been packed with great activities and info, and Caren, Jeanna, and the rest of the staff are incredibly supportive, professional, and most importantly, caring. The provider directory they have is also such a huge help, and personally we have worked with several birth and baby professionals listed in it and had great outcomes. I'm so happy our parenting community has this resource and I look forward to participating in more workshops and activities here!

I’ve attended several of Aariel’s prenatal yoga classes and absolutely love them! We focus on gentle stretching, mindful breathing, and relaxation. The variety of stretches always illuminates tense muscles on my body and I feel so refreshed after each class. Plus, there’s a strong sense of community working out with other pregnant mamas and following their pregnancy journeys. I cannot recommend this class enough! I’m 37 weeks pregnant and plan to attend for as long as I can.

I took several classes here (and also used Caren as my doula!). Every experience was lovely, from the post partum workouts, baby sign language class, and especially the Tummy Time session with Janet! The tummy time class really helped me connect more deeply with my baby and introduced me to new ways to continue that connection every day, even as a second time mom. Highly recommend!

Wonderful classes and community. My husband and I took the birthing naturally class and found it to be such a support and informative course. I feel so calm about my birth experience because the teacher (Lori) prepared us so well. Highly recommend finding a class to join if you are expecting!

In an era where so much is done online and remotely, The Nesting Spot is an exceptional resource for parents and parents-to-be who are looking for in-person resources and community. Cozy and welcoming, they offer a wide range of support groups & different classes both pre and post-natal, and for those with little ones. Becoming a parent can be confusing and overwhelming, so places like The Nesting Spot are invaluable in helping you through that process, and maybe making some friends along the way! My husband and I found our doula through the Nesting Spot’s database of professionals, we took a post-natal class that made us feel a sense of community and at ease with what’s to come. We plan to take another class or 2 and I plan to attend the parent/mom support groups and hopefully start some of the yoga classes as well. It’s been really nice to know that there is somewhere to go to build community which I know will be crucial as I embark on this new chapter in life!
