Our daughter has danced at KDT since she was 3 and we’re on year 5! The whole studio staff is wonderful and everyone there makes it such a supportive village. We can’t imagine any other dance family - every single person there supports the whole dancer - on and off the stage and practice room. We love that the studio has age appropriate standards for dancing and costumes etc. There is space for every dancer from beginner, competitive, recreation, special needs, or adult! PS Tap with Mary Lee is the best time you’ll have all week! 🩷

I took my girls for a trial class because they were recommended by a local dance wear store. The phone interaction getting the girls set up for the trial class was nice and straightforward. However, once in person, I didn’t really get the warm and fuzzies. The communication wasn’t very friendly and welcoming. The director walked around greeting people but that was a completely different than the front desk personnel. They are in two different age groups (4&11). We were told the 11 year old had to enter through the outside- apparently the doors only remain open for exactly one minute because we made it to the door by 5:31 and they had already closed the door. That was disclosed but I didn’t think it applied on our first day there. So, us and another parent who was equally confused had to walk all the way back inside. One of the employees walked the my daughter back and then proceeded to tell the instructor IN FRONT OF THE KIDS that the parents said they were out there and that was a lie because she saw him open the door, etc. I am sure that employees talk about their customers all of the time but there’s a time and a place. And in front of our kids who are old enough to understand, is not the place. lol. Long story short; as soon as the class was over both girls said they didn’t want to return and that was enough for me to not enroll them. Hope others have a better experience.

Kennedy Dance is a wonderful place to take dance lessons! My granddaughter just started CD1 class, this is her second year there. When we arrive at the place her first words are get me out [of carseat], she cant wait to go to class. The teachers are so sweet and always positive with the kids. Its amazing how much they learn in just a short time. The recital last May was such a big success. You could see the excitement on all the kids faces. They were all so proud to show off their dance skills. My 2 yr old granddaughter was the first class on stage and she was able to sit and enjoy the rest of the performances due to the excitement of the dancers and audience. Great family experience and wonderful environment!

I am a 3rd year adult dance student and absolutely love Kennedy Dance. MaryLee makes every class fun and lifts every student up, no matter their dance level. The office staff are very accommodating no matter the request.

We have been apart of this studio for 10 years now. All 3 of my girls have started as tiny dance babies and have grown up here. This is a loving, positive environment. ALL of the teachers absolutely love all of the dancers, they are passionate about teaching dance and more. The owner and office staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. We have had EVERY teacher in the studio and have never had any issues. My girls feel safe and loved here. They learn and grow so much every year! As a mom I couldn't ask for a better place for my daughter's to be at. I recommend this studio to everyone I know and will continue to do so. This studio holds a very special place in our hearts and it always will. We LOVE Kennedy Dance Theatre and we LOVE every teacher, the office staff, and our owner! I highly recommend this studio!
