About this class

Kathy's Music and Kindermusik offers Kindermusik classes at McMurray, Mt. Lebanon, and Squirrel Hill locations. Level 1 (0-24 months) is parent- or caregiver-led, focused on bonding through music, movement, and sensory play. Level 2 (ages 2-3) continues caregiver participation with singing and instruments. A Mixed Age class (0-3 years) lets siblings at different developmental stages attend together. Starting at Level 3, for ages 3 and up, classes move to a drop-off format without a parent present. A paid trial is available with no obligation.

We love our Kindermusik class. As a new parent, I was keen to find places to take my kid that would be fun and beneficial for him, but I didn't realize how much I would get out of the sessions too! Miss Ella brings so much thought and care to planning the lessons, and I learn so much about development, music, and supporting curiosity. We look forward to our class all week, and are grateful for our new friends and new songs.

My daughter and I have had a great Kindermusik experience through this program. The teachers are generous and know their stuff, the music instruction is age-appropriate and fun for both kids and caregivers, and it's been immensely valuable for us to spend time with other toddlers and adults in a friendly, supportive setting. I've loved watching my daughter learn and have a blast at her music classes here over the years.

We love Kindermusik at Kathy's music. My daughter is 2 and has been going for a year. The teachers are wonderful and she has learned and grown so much this past year. We love Kindermusik so much we had my daughter's birthday there. I cannot recommend this program more highly. My only regret is that we didn't start sooner!
