After my second baby, my OB recommended Arkansas Lactation—and I’m so thankful she did. Their team was amazing from start to finish: great communication, help with insurance, and truly personalized care. Carly, my lactation consultant, came to my home and made me feel completely supported and never judged. I learned so much, like how improper pumping and flange sizes were affecting my milk supply. She also connected me with their OT, Drew, who helped my baby with muscle tightness through gentle massage. Later, I was referred to Smile Shoppe in Rogers, where Dr. Andrew diagnosed a lip and tongue tie—finally solving the breastfeeding issues we’d been facing. This whole experience turned my feeding journey around. Arkansas Lactation offers an amazing community, tons of resources, and compassionate, expert support. I can’t recommend them enough!

Carly was a GODSEND for me as a first-time mama working hard (but not really knowing what I’m doing) to nourish my baby. I saw her two days postpartum and not only did she validate me that the pain I was feeling while trying to breastfeed was not normal, but she helped me come up with a game plan to get back on track fast. And it worked! I absolutely would not have been able to breastfeed without her. She’d check in with me outside of appointments too which was so sweet and just goes to show her extra level of care and attention for her clients. My baby has Carly to thank for being a breastfed baby! I can’t sing my praises about her enough. Everyone has raved about Arkansas Lactation, and my experience with Carly now makes me understand why. I’ll forever be an advocate!

Arkansas Lactation is truly the best! My baby was breech for most of pregnancy and born via c-section, so she had a lot of tension from birth. Eating was difficult for her, causing her to be fussy a lot of the time, and she was not gaining much weight. I thought I just had a fussy baby. I was working with Leanne for breastfeeding help, and she referred us to Drew for an OT session to help relieve baby's tension and to investigate why baby wasn't gaining the weight she should. I have seen a night and day difference in my baby since we started working with Drew for OT! We have a happy baby who is significantly more chill. With Leanne and Drew's help, my baby is gaining weight beautifully, and I don't think I would've made it this far in my breastfeeding journey. Both Leanne and Drew have been huge resources for our family, supporting us and helping me feel more confident and empowered to feed my baby. It's so nice to have experts in your corner who can help you when you're feeling the most out of your depth.

We used Arkansas Lactation, but specifically for majority of the assistance from Drew, the OT. Drew is the best!!! I've been able to transition to exclusively breastfeeding (LIKE STRAIGHT FROM THE CHEST) due to her help. The full process happened from about the time my son was a month old to 2.5 months. Like that's how much work can go into it realistically. Can you imagine not knowing that??? I would have given up and been like, I guess breastfeeding is just not for us 👍 BUT IT WAS! Thank you Drew and Katie for all of your help!

I scheduled my first appointment with a lactation consultant during the first week of my baby’s life and WOW! We had such an amazing experience that we made five follow up appointments. My consultant, Leanne, taught me that breastfeeding doesn’t have to look a certain way, and worked with us to find what worked best for our family. As a first time mom, I had so many questions about breastfeeding and how to care for my newborn. Leanne made herself available to answer all of my questions from latching to safe sleep. It felt so good to have someone in our corner cheering us on as we navigated our new season of life!
