About this class

Fit After Baby is a postpartum fitness class at Woman's Fitness, part of Woman's Center for Wellness, where parents exercise with babies held in a sling or carrier. Sessions run Monday and Wednesday, 5:30-6:15 PM, as small-group personal training using contraction-based interval training with functional movement and core exercises. **UPDATE** The daycare in now open on Saturdays. And have been more consistent with the hours. I love using the gym, but the Daycare is not consistent. They are currently not open on Saturdays because they are looking for someone to fill that position. But when I signed up in April they said they did have daycare hours on Saturdays. I tried to come on a Thursday during the Daycare hours and it was closed. The reason I signed up for a membership here is because of the Daycare.

The audiologist Carla is excellent! She has been helping my son since the 4th grade, and now he is in college. Never had an issue there.

This review is for the pool only. I love this facility, and I have used the pool regularly since 2011. Anyone considering joining this facility to use the pool needs to be aware of the following: (1) To swim or do an aerobic workout in the main pool, you must do a reservation in advance. Reservations are done in the MindBody app, and the time opens at MIDNIGHT, allowing you to reserve a week in advance. Some women set alarms every night to wake up to do the reservations!! The Center is aware of that. It claims a software issue prevents it from changing to a more reasonable time, but I doubt that is true as the time for reservations for classes use to start at midnight and got switched fairly quickly to 7 am (and more recently to 8 pm). (2) The facility rarely cleans the deck area around the pool. Over two years ago, I submitted pictures of trash around the pool, and one of those trash pieces is still in the same place. (3) The surface around the pool is disintegrating and needs to be replaced. Sometimes those pieces are uncomfortable when you walk on them. (4) The shower floors are often slippery, and a fairly recent renovation to the shower area decreased the number of showers with safety bars to only two (and those are not the easiest of the showers to use). We pay more than at other gyms, so it is disappointing that problems like these persist.

Took my 3 year old son here for a hearing test. The staff is great, as I would expect since it is a Woman's Hospital©️ facility. Also, took my daughter here for a hearing exam after she was born back in 2009. They were great then too. Very nice, cozy environment, welcoming staff, and the appointments are never long or drawn out. Our most recent appt, we were in and out within 30 minutes (and we were 20 min early). ♡Thank you Woman's for your outstanding service to your patients. ♡

I joined this gym specifically because it was advertised as a women’s-only space, which made me feel comfortable and safe. I was disappointed to find out that a male trainer was recently added, as this goes against the main reason many of us chose this gym. Very very bothered and disappointed :(((

This gym is very very pricey, which used to understandable knowing it's not common to find a Women's only gym. Until recently staff decided to hire a male trainer, which there is absolutely NO purpose for this as the trainer could easily be a woman. Many ladies including myself are uncomfortable about it'd and upset knowing we're paying money for what we thought we would get.

This year is my first time going to this place for the disorders that I have been diagnosed with. The receptionist is very helpful, friendly and easy to talk to which calmed some of my nerves down. Then when Lauren Lawson called me back and we went into a room to get my medical history, she was very nice, friendly, asked questions about my issues, She seemed as concerned as I was and I liked that because you don’t find many out there like that. We went over all my medication and she said that some could be the issue but we will figure it out together. She did her exam and found out that it indeed was not my medications. It was a list of new diagnosis to add to my list. I asked her about the high intensity pelvic floor dysfunction that I just got diagnosed with and if it was going to mess up anything and am I going to have too do have surgery for it. She said that we caught it while it was mild and we just have to train it to do what it’s supposed to do. She said it’s from having your babies, your gallbladder taken out and the back surgery where they went through the front and now all your stomach muscles and below are weak. She said will work on this together and I’ve been going there for three months now and I still get the same treatment as I did when I first walked through those doors! Ashley Duncan

It was great until they decided to hire a male trainer on the women’s fitness floor. Staff seems uncomfortable about it also and managers absolutely do not care . They are ready for people to end their memberships . It’s unfair because it is all women’s gym so why would they hire a male to just sit and watch people all day from 11-8 . It is very uncomfortable and I cant enjoy my workouts anymore
