I am SO thankful that I found Well Nested and Jan!! I first discovered Well Nested while pregnant and looking for ways to stay active. I went to Movin’ Mama’s every week between 20 and 30 weeks during my pregnancy. As someone who never really worked out prior to being pregnant, the classes were difficult, but Amanda was motivating and kept class so fun. I also went to prenatal yoga with Lyndsey up until about 35 weeks during my pregnancy. I truly believe these classes helped make my labor uncomplicated and helped with a quick recovery! I also attended a few educational courses at Well Nested while pregnant. Baby Bootcamp was an extremely informative, hands-on class taught by Jan. We learned the crucial information such as proper car seat use, burping and swaddling. My husband really enjoyed the class and immediately put the knowledge to use while I was recovering in the hospital. It was 100% worth it to take this class and feel more confident as first-time parents. The Birth 101 course was very educational and provided useful information for either medicated or nonmedicated birth. We felt as prepared as possible while in the hospital when different medications/options were presented to us. Finally, I utilized Well Nested postpartum doula care for the first few weeks after bringing my son home. Jan came to our house once a week for a few hours and helped my husband and I navigate adjusting to our new life. She would answer all our questions, guide me through breastfeeding/pumping, educate us on newborn sleeping, fold/organize baby clothes and so much more. Jan is non-judgmental, knowledgeable, calm and so kind. I highly recommend Jan and all she has to offer at Well Nested!

I could not be more grateful that I found Well Nested in my postpartum journey. Jan has created such a warm and welcoming environment where new moms can come and feel a sense of belonging and understanding at a time where so much feels overwhelming and uncertain. I look forward to the Hiccups and Sunshine group each week and really value the relationships I have made with the other moms who attend. Jan always offers a listening ear, great advice, and positive encouragement which is so appreciated! Could not recommend enough!!

Being a first time mom I had so many questions and really felt like I didn’t know what I was doing. Jan offers a great sense of community and makes you feel ‘normal’ in a time when you don’t really know top from bottom. I’m incredibly grateful for the insight and knowledge she’s share on top of introducing me to a community of moms who support one another. Cant say enough good things about Well Nested!

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience at WellNested. We participated in Hiccups and Sunshine for babies 0-4m old, and really enjoyed our time there. Community is absolutely essential when embarking into motherhood and Jan creates such a positive, warm, and engaging community for everyone.

I love the sense of community that taking a class at Well Nested provides. I felt this sense of community from my very first class there. Our population is very lucky to have Jan and the resources she offers. The space is safe and welcoming, allowing those in any stage of the perinatal process a place to know they belong, to connect with others and to learn during the journey. Highly recommend!!
