Ms. Stacie is a very skillful piano teacher. She has been teaching my daughters piano for 2.5 years and I have observed the accelerating improvements. But most importantly, Ms. Stacie is a wonderful person. She is polite and understanding with the kids. She started teaching my youngest daughter when she was just 5 years old, and she has found the secret of how to work with kids while still making them learn  She observes the differences between my two daughters and treats them appropriately to their age and style. She is engaged with them and really cares to teach. I consider the piano lessons as a long-term investment for my kids not only to learn piano, but also to learn how to behave and be positive.

I have been attending Music Together classes with my son for over a year and we absolutely LOVE them! The director Stacie is so welcoming, energetic, engaging, playful and knowledgeable of child development. She always brings wonderful energy and passion to each class. The classes/semester comes with a song book and an app for you to listen to the songs at home to familiarize yourself with the songs that will be used in class. My 3 year old loves the pictures and listens to the songs on a daily basis! It’s a great way resource to have at home/on your phone. As an early childhood educator, I love how structured the classes are. There is a predictable routine of the class with a hello song and goodbye song. Stacie incorporates fun materials like a stretchy band, parachute, rhythm sticks, bells etc to make the class interactive and engaging for the adults and then children. There is a great level of movement incorporated into the classes which makes them fun and engaging for all involved! Also, Stacie will meet each baby/child at their development level and just wants children to explore and experience music at their pace/level. My son ADORES Ms. Stacie!!! While he is very quiet and observant in class, he will come home and recreate music class singing the songs, using the language Stacie uses in class and copying her movements. It has been such a wonderful way to foster his development and also provide him with social engagement with peers of all ages. I highly recommend the music program and think it’s such a special gem to have locally. It is such a highlight of our week.

My daughters have been attending weekly piano lessons with Ms. Stacie for over two years. They look forward to the weekly meetings because Ms. Stacie is able to find a good balance between teaching and making it interesting. She seems to understand when the right time is to make the lesson challenging and when the kids need more time to practice.

As a mom on maternity leave, I really struggled to figure out how to spend my days with my new baby. I searched for any sort of mommy and me class in the neighborhood. Most start at 4 months old, just in time for me to return to work! I was thrilled to find Music Together and realize that they offer classes for babies as young as newborns. I brought my babe to a free demo class and signed up on the spot. The class is very structured and caregivers are actively involved. Stacey, the instructor, guides you through each song and activity. She has a beautiful voice and is really wonderful with each child in the class - making each feel special and appreciated. She acknowledges that all babies have pressing needs and welcomes everyone to feed and change the babies as needed. Early on, my baby would sleep through large swaths of the class. Stacey explained that despite being asleep, she was still taking in all of the music and knowledge. She's especially great at explaining developmentally how the class is helping each child grow and learn. The songs are fun and I find myself singing them at home without even realizing. My baby lights up when she hears the familiar tunes. This class has been great for providing structure to my maternity leave life, giving me a reason to leave the house, a community of other caregivers to spend time with, and most importantly - my little one loves it!

We love our weekly music class with Stacie. It's the perfect activity for my 5 month old and I feel like he's actually learning something during each class. He loves the songs and lights up when we play them at home!
