Torresdale Library | Philadelphia County, PA

This is a pretty cool library, I just wish it had slightly more places to sit.

I love the library...have ever since I was little. I grew up only three blocks from one. If I could, I'd be in the library all day. The staff at Torresdale are very friendly and helpful. You can have books from other libraries sent to Torresdale so you can read them and you can renew your books online if you've not finished on time. All in all its one of my favorite places.

Staff is very helpful and go out of their way to really help. If the book you want is not there they will take your name and order for you and when it arrives you will get an email to come pick up. I love taking my children here.

Staple of the community! Torresdale is the greatest library! Wonderful atmosphere! Absolutely the best staff ever!

Caring staff. Children's librarian esp. is wonderful. Great programs. Call ahead to check hours. May be closed unexpectedly due to city staffing issue
