Toby Wells YMCA runs a Parent/Child Gymnastics class for ages 18 months to 2.9 years, with a caregiver accompanying the child in the gym to build comfort with the space. The YMCA also offers Swim Starters, a parent-participation program with two stages: Water Discovery introduces infants and toddlers to the aquatic environment through exploration, and Water Exploration has parents work with children on floating, blowing bubbles, and basic water safety skills.
