About this class

The Sensory Studio runs two parent-child programs. Toddler Time is a drop-in class for ages 1-3, held Tuesdays 8:45-9:45 AM for $8 per child with no registration required; caregivers stay and participate in sensory activities, climbing, and imaginative play, and an occupational therapist joins every other week at no extra charge. Play & Grow Classes are scheduled sessions for toddlers through early school-age children, led or supported by pediatric therapy professionals in small groups and built around social, motor, and sensory milestones. No diagnosis or referral is required.

The new location and rebrand have done WONDERS for this idea. We will be coming to the weekend play time a lot this winter! My girls love everything - the climbing wall, swings, white sand pit, sensory bins, and vet. 🥳

Was in Sioux Falls and desperate for an early morning indoor activity for my highly energetic boy. Found this place online and decided to give it a try. I’m surprised there aren’t more reviews and photos online because this place was impressive and is perfect for kids. They have an indoor sand pit and indoor corn pit. So fun!

The kids had a blast while we enjoyed our coffee from Lava Cafe. From sand, to water, to climbing, and playing, there was so much for them to do. Lots and lots to do and play,free if fear from bad weather. Only suggestion I would make would be to put a slip pad down in the water room as my daughter slipped on the floor and hit her ribs hard on the water table.

My girls LOVE this place! Not only is it locally owned, it’s located inside a locally owned coffee shop! 💙 It’s more than an indoor sandlot, they also have a sensory gym AND a water room! Kids can use their imagination to hearts delight at The Sandlot where things are always changing and refreshing with the season as well as different themes throughout! You just never know what they will come up with next! 🤩

We had my son’s third birthday party here last weekend and it was the most perfect space for it! Tons of fun things to play with and room to run around and burn off energy indoors. With his birthday being in January, I wanted somewhere he could still be physically active and run around while also being somewhere warm inside! He is a very high energy kiddo and I felt like he was safe to play without worrying about him breaking anything or making a mess. Staff was friendly and accommodating, and we had a parts room for the kids to eat and open gifts in. 10/10 recommend 😊
