The Nesting Place (and specifically Christine) was so easy to work with! We would not have been able to get through the first few weeks with two kids without Christine’s help! She went above and beyond to make sure that not only was our newborn being cared for but that we all were supported during this adjustment period. She was so helpful with breastfeeding, and I just cannot recommend and thank her enough for all she did for my family!

Alison and Barb offered good communication and caring support from my initial inquiry about a postpartum doula to the end of my time with their doula, Leslie. I had an early delivery and Leslie was flexible with the start date. She would check in before and after the delivery to see how myself and the baby were doing. Caring for newborns and their moms seemed to be more than just a job for her. I would highly recommend the Nesting Place to new moms especially for postpartum doulas. The schedule was flexible and offered me the right amount of support during those challenging early weeks.

We had a wonderful experience with The Nesting Place and used several of their services throughout our pregnancy journey. The birthing class was incredibly informative and helped us feel much more prepared. We also worked with Leslie as our doula, and she was amazing every step of the way. She checked in often, answered all of our questions, and helped us understand what to expect. During labor, it was such a comfort to have someone fully on our team. My labor was long, and Leslie was there through it all. She clearly knows her stuff, and we felt so supported and at ease with her. I also attended the groups for expecting and new moms, which were a great way to connect with other moms and feel a real sense of community. I had a prenatal massage as well—highly recommend! The massage helped so much with hip and lower back pain, and the experience was incredibly relaxing. They even helped us connect with someone for placenta encapsulation. It truly felt like we found the place for all things pregnancy-related. We felt fully supported in every way, and I’m so grateful for the care and community The Nesting Place offers. Highly recommend!

I reached out to the nesting place when I was pregnant with my second child. I worked with Barb and she was super communicative and understanding of our needs and helped with connecting us to Megan who ended up being our Birth Doula. Megan was amazing. She scheduled several meetings before baby was born, we got on the same page with respect to our birth plan and what my preferences were. She really took the time to understand what I was hoping for from the experience while at the same time, setting expectations and guiding me through the process. At the time of our Birth, Megan was super available. She came right to the hospital and was an integral part of our team we couldn’t have done it without her! thank you so much to the nesting place for supporting our pregnancy journey!

If you are still thinking to take birth and labor class, think no more! Nesting Place has an essential "Love your labor" class for new parents, we feel so much more confident and prepared after the class. Our educator was Beth and she is doula and true expert, all her examples and stories were on point, she was also very patient with my silly questions. My husband and I absolutely recommend this class and we are looking forward to get another class!
