The Little Gym of Huntington, NY | Suffolk County, NY
About this class
The Little Gym is basically where you go when you want to feel like you're doing something good for your kiddo's development while also getting a bit of a workout yourself - win-win, right? They're really into the whole "serious fun" thing, which sounds cheesy but actually works out pretty well because your little one gets to tumble around on safe equipment while you're doing more than just sitting on the sidelines scrolling your phone. The classes have actual structure with songs, basic gymnastics moves, and all those sensory activities with balls and bubbles that make toddlers lose their minds with excitement, but it's not so rigid that you'll stress if your kid decides today is the day they only want to roll down the same mat seventeen times. Plus you'll probably end up chatting with other parents who also thought they'd have more energy for this parenting thing, and honestly, sometimes that adult conversation is worth the class fee alone!
Families love how their little ones bounce out of class with a new sense of confidence and creativity—it's like watching them grow right before your eyes!

The little gym has been really good to our toddler. The gym is clean and well equipped, but the greatest asset to the gym are the coaches, especially Coach Missy. The place has helped our son with his ability to focus and his confidence.

Would recommend Huntington Little Gym to all my friends. I’ve been a few times with my daughters and always found the gym so clean, friendly and pleasant. Meena the owner goes above and beyond to make sure the families and kids are having a great experience in a safe and clean environment.

I honestly did not feel like the owner treated me well from beginning to end. I actually read that the birthday child receives a Little Gym tee shirt which my child never received. It also says on the website they would take care of everything relating to the invitations including stamping and mailing them. I had no issue doing this but not sure why they would tell me they don’t do that when in fact it’s listed on there. It also says children get small bottles of water but they said they would have jugs of water. Because I brought some juice packs they never actually put out the waters they had promised. They also made it super inconvenient when wanting to order gourmet pizza for the adults from a place across the street which is how I learned about the Little Gym. I found out about the Little Gym through Joanina’s and from eating there across the street. You would think as business owners they would be ok with returning the favor by allowing someone to order from there. The director had told me it was fine. Then the nasty owner reneged on that and sternly told me she wouldn’t allow it. She had a contract with the pizzeria where the pizza for the children came from. That’s fine but I wasn’t going to be ordering adult pizza from Juniors anyway. I personally have gotten ill from that pizza and so have others in my family. I resorted to getting sandwiches and other platters from a local grocer who was very accommodating. Still it would have been easier and more convenient to go across the street. Also, it took forever for the owner to get back to me when I wanted to book this place. And at the end when it came time fo get a receipt she told me and my husband she would email it. I never received it and wrote to them after two days asking for it. The director acted like a hard copy was available all along. So then why didn’t the owner just hand it to us the day of our event. Doesn’t seem to take much to just physically hand it over. Needless to say when people ask me about this place I tell them about this horrible experience. It’s too bad because the staff who work there are very nice and helpful. Even my guests could tell the owner had some issue with me. It’s quite disgusting to say the least.

Friendly, upbeat, good for ages 4 months up to preschool or so, lots of padding, some balance beams, nothing too tall, very clean bathroom, must be barefoot or socks, no shoes.
