The Craft Studio | Manhattan, NY

The Craft Studio was a little underwhelming for the price. The atmosphere/vibe/experience is nice, but to make a small 8oz jar of slime in the Tier 1 category for 30$ and you only get to choose 1 color of paint. The focus seemed to be on decorating the slime containers with paint markers and already dug through feathers and buttons. There were no options for glitter, charms, foam beads, scent, etc. I asked and the workers were not prepared for the question... sparce/weak for the price. With that being said I dont recommend slime making but perhaps the pottery painting or something a bit more advanced. Overall just okay. Concept 10/10...supplies/options - 3/10. Also, the workers seemed to be handling too much at the same time. Their main focus is to cater to/handle the birthday parties and it took away from tending to guests in the walk-in section.

Took my daughters there. They liked it. They had fun painting the object they picked. My little one picked a wooden castle and my other one picked a ceramic fish. Good workers in their, they really helped my daughters with picking out their painting colors. They also did a free glitter tattoo, which was awesome for my little one. Nice place to take your kid and do something with them. That way they can avoid electronics for that time.

Dear Craft Studio Party Peeps, Thank you so much for making Clementine’s 5th birthday party so awesome!! She had an absolute blast and so did we. Your staff is fantastic and you guys obviously know how to throw a party. You all made the entire process a breeze from start to finish. Another huge thank you from the Hamiltons!

It's a little bit pricey, but my kid had a lot of fun. At first, their system accepted my appointment at a private event. We had to wait for two hours until the event finished. My daughter was so disappointed since we came all the way from downtown Brooklyn. The staff apologized for the mixed up nicely, and as a software engineer, I know that technology is not reliable sometimes. So, I decided not to blame the store. Everyone there was so nice, my daughter really enjoyed her craft and said that she wanted to come back next time. But I'd recommend looking into the system issue since it was very disappointing at the beginning.
