Fitness center was always clean and never a wait for what you wanted to use. Heavy duty squat rack, bench, brand new machines, and even a punching bag! The saunas were great post-workout. The locker rooms are immaculate and every staff member is cheerful and never delayed in offering assistance. Being a member of TCR felt like being a member of Riverdale. I would run into fellow members + staff in my apartment building, grocery stores, or even simply walking up Johnson Ave. My wife and I no longer live in the area and leaving TCR was one of the hardest goodbyes

This club did not meet my expectations whatsoever. I was brought as a guest and the facility is not maintained well. When i went to get my belongings from the lockers there was a bug in there. I have heard from others that they’ve also seen bugs in their food from the cafe. I just don’t see how members are paying insane prices for the service that they get. If I am paying a certain amount, I expect the facility to be kept clean and for service to be extraordinary. I will say that the employee with glasses at the front desk is very kind and makes sure the needs of the members are always met. Any concerns or questions members may have he’s there to make sure they are receiving the service they deserve. However, I don’t recommend anyone to sign up for this club. You simply won’t receive what you pay for.

TCR has a great facility and community. From the classes to the trainers and staff, I’ve had only good experiences. A big shout out to Mark, JP, and Ellie at the gym. These guys are excellent trainers and demonstrate that they really care about their clients.

As an obsessed rec tennis player/athlete, I’ve been searching far and wide around NYC for a facility that not only has stellar coaches and clinics for tennis players, but also the amenities all players look for (modern and clean gym, sauna/steam room, and friendly staff) I love my weekly sessions at TCR and always leave knowing I got better, and had a great time too. 5/5

My 8 year old son improved his beginning golf techniques at TCR Summer Golf Camp for Kids; moreover, he made new friends and was learning golf in an outdoors environment including on actual golf courses nearby with golf pros. Lucas and fellow TCR admin and staff provide a safe, tidy and wonderful camp setting that includes STEM like fun activities and indoor swimming pool -especially convenient on summer rainy days. The TCR shuttle bus route was in our UWS neighborhood, not a long commute and my son loved riding it too. Their meal plan has terrific options and it’s very tasty.
