Tam Tam -- Music Together Classes for Children 0-5 Years Old | Brooklyn, NY

My daughter has been attending Tam Tam since 6months old and she absolutely loves it. It’s been a joy to see her grown musically. She constantly reaches for the Tam Tam music books when at home and requests to sing the songs, and is in such great spirits during an after classes. All the teachers there have been so wonderful. They are very accommodating of makeup classes. So grateful this exists in our community!

We love Tam Tam Music Together! Jelena is an absolute gem-- such a wonderful singer & instructor, so welcoming & so expressive, joyful and warm with all of the babies (and parents!). We did the Fall session with Jelena this year (2025) starting when my daughter was ~4.5 months old. We absolutely loved the whole semester-- the songbook is fun & engaging and Lou loves to listen to the songs outside of class, too. We are doing the December mini session now & have already signed up for the Winter semester mixed age class. This class has exposed Lou to so many different types of music, sounds, instruments, singing, expressions & socialization. It's such a wonderful thing to look forward to each week & it's been a joy to watch Lou fall in love with music, babble along to songs, yelp with delight during songs, befriend Jelena & make so many other baby friends, too. 10000/10 recommend!

Tam Tam Music Together has been a highlight of our week since my little one was 3 months old! I was desperately looking for something to get us out of the apartment during winter and we just fell in love with the music, the instructors, and the wonderful community Tam Tam creates. This is our 2nd semester with Micah and we love their energy and enthusiasm!! Highly recommend doing a trial class to see how amazing it is, it will become such a joyful part of your child's life.

I can’t say enough great things about Tam Tam and the music together program. Every week Jemilla brings such thoughtful pedagogy but also fun!! My son sings the songs for ages after class and the curriculum is the same for friends in different cities so they all know the same tunes. Also!! we just did a makeup class with Micah and were absolutely blown away. He’s an awesome, very very very special teacher. One class and my son still talks about him.

Our family has loved the music classes at Tam Tam. We started attending when my son was young and now his little sister is going to her own classes. Both of our kiddos have loved the songs and opportunities to try new musical instruments. Jelena is an incredibly dynamic, engaging, and compassionate teacher. It is clear from her classes that she loves what she does and she works to connect with and get to know each child in her classes. We love to play the music from classes at home and both kids (even the 9-month-old) light up when they hear the familiar songs. We highly recommend Tam Tam!
