## Sugar Hill Children's Museum: A Delightful Spark for Young Artists! **Took my two kids (ages 7 & 8) to the Sugar Hill Children's Museum and we all had a fantastic time!** With free admission for children under 8, it's a budget-friendly option that packs a big punch. The museum offered a wonderful variety of activities to keep my little artists busy. They happily spent time scratch coloring, creating masterpieces with clay, getting lost in a good book, and tackling a fun scavenger hunt. There were also classic favorites like coloring stations and pipe cleaners for open-ended creativity. What truly elevated our experience was the amazing staff. Gio and Zelly went above and beyond, engaging with the children and offering creative guidance. They helped my kids explore different ways to represent their artwork, fostering their imaginations in a way that felt both playful and educational. **If you're looking for a fun and inspiring place to take your young children, I highly recommend the Sugar Hill Children's Museum!**

Not small child friendly. I made several visits. Best day to come is on Saturdays usually the they have someone/ group doing some children activities like singing, story telling and imagination play. The art is cool and all ,the space is big, but I don’t see toddlers taking advantage. Maybe 6-8 yr old… maybe. The facility has more security /staff standing around protecting the art, rather than staff having art stations or activities. They do have some clay/ sculpting area which is a 10x20 room with two tables. Some coloring, collage making with two small tables. One basket of magnetic tile, blocks and books. They do have a dedicated stroller and coat closet with no locks or way to be secured.

This place was absolutely amazing! The staff were pleasant and inviting. Alexander our tour guide was especially wonderful with my students. He was engaging, knowledgeable and very patient. He made the experience for my students as well as for the teachers & parents an experience they'll never forget. The art on display is unique and impressive. They have art by several ethnic artists and the space is large and welcoming. I will definitely be bringing my students here year after year for a field trip. They are also open to the public and we did see a few families with toddlers there.

A place where kids can have fun and make art but it is not really a museum for kids as whatever little art is there is fairly modern and not easy to interpret. Still the kids that came with us had a lot of fun because of all the activities and the things they could make. The staff of the museum help to make things as well Tickets for kids are free for below 8 and $4 for kids till 17. Adults it is $7. They also have books and other small artwork for sale. They also have storytelling sessions which you can find out about by just calling them. The staff were quite friendly.

This place is a gem, its been a while since the last time we visited, its unfortunate that they no longer have the black board with water paint, the staff said that there was a big leakage that happened so they closed it completely. The exhibits are amazing! Place is clean and you can literally stay there and do arts ans crafts for hours! Bathroom is also clean and spotless Perfect to visit on a very hot day.
