Soundview Library | The Bronx, NY

My toddler loved the library. It had a small play area to play pretend chef, sink, and laundry. Lots of children's books he was interested in and the staff was welcoming. They also hold small events like crochet which is nice to bring community to the neighborhood.

I was really impressed with this library. It’s not super big but is bright and clean inside. This branch boasts a computer lab and a nice kids section with plenty of children’s books, seating and activities (including some STEM toys). My toddler really enjoys coming here.

My experience here was awesome. The staff was very welcoming very helpful. Only thing is that I wish they had Flash drive for use while you're at the library.

I’ve been coming to this branch since I was a child, and now I have the pleasure of bringing my daughter to one of my favorite places! I love the staff, they are so friendly and helpful, the library is always clean & there are plenty of books, resources, free tutoring & activities for everyone. They are currently giving away free books which they update often, and I have found some really great read so for myself and my daughter. My daughter is in second grade and got her first chapter book from the library’s free collection. She’s really has an interest in reading and is reading at a fourth grade level. I am grateful for this gem in Soundview. It’s important to keep our libraries open for the youth.
