Very loud in the library during 3-4 pm as well people/ workers are rude especially the girl who does the masterpiece art club at 4pm. She kicked us out the table when it wasn’t even 4 yet while I was studying for SAT. And there was many people eating around me and she didn’t say anything to them. Rude and disrespectful. This lady in the photo kept bothering while I took my PSAT saying I cant eat even though talking isn’t usually allowed and people are behind me and she didn’t say anything. And kicked me out of the table even if no one is there?

The front desk lady was unpleasant but the people on the other floors were nice. I accidentally went downstairs in search of the adult book session and the way she stared me down after the security pointed me towards the books you’d think I committed a crime. I wish more people in public sector understood customer service and how important first impressions are. Other than that it’s a beautiful library and a great selection for teens and kids.

Seward Park Library is a smaller branch, but it has a warm and cozy atmosphere. Its location near Chinatown gives it a unique cultural touch that makes visiting here feel special. The only downside is the restroom situation. There seem to be plenty available for staff, but limited options for the public. During my visit, there was quite a line on the first floor, and if you’re in a hurry, you might need to step outside to find one elsewhere — not ideal. Overall, it’s a charming neighborhood library with great character, but a little improvement on public facilities would make it even better.
