Salvation Army Kroc Center | Kent County, MI

Salvation Army Kroc Center offers Parent & Child swim lessons in which caregiver and child are in the water together. Level 1, for ages 6 months to 3 years, covers blowing bubbles, floating, kicking, and water safety basics. Level 2, for ages 18 months to 3 years, has no prerequisite but requires comfort in water, and adds floating, gliding, and arm movements on front and back. A separate Preschool & Parent class for ages 3-5 has parents join for the first three lessons, then observe from the deck for the last three. Registration is handled through the center's online booking system.
