Small neighborhood library with plenty of tables, computers and sitting areas. I enjoy visiting this library branch. Their hours are not the same as most libraries in the area so it's great to have this one open when the others close earlier some weekdays. Not crowded at all. Plenty of parking.

We like this small library! Afternoons there are quiet not busy at all. Very nice and organized, staff is friendly and kind. It needs to add a self check out though (here you still need for a staff member to help you checkout. )

I booked the meeting room for 11am-3pm per Harris County website and when I got there wanted to check in and was told that that they’re finishing up in the kids are finishing up in the room and they’ll be out shortly. I said okay, around 11:16 I came back up to her and asked if she knows when they’ll be finished. With a tone, she said really that they should have had the time blocked off from 10am-12pm. That’s all she said. Not I’m sorry, this was an oversight, not an explanation when I came in explaining the time, just the website shouldn’t have allowed me to book for those times anyways. I asked her so I would be able to come in at 12, she said yeah. That’s it. Telling someone they’re finishing up in there and they’ll be out shortly means expect a 5-10 minute wait… I shouldn’t have to go back up there for further explanation when shortly to you meant an hour wait. I’m not sure if she felt I didn’t deserve an explanation or what, but I didn’t appreciate the lack of communication, the lack of understanding and the tone like it was an oversight sight on my end when I did what was necessary. Furthermore, when I first came into the library to check in, the term I used was study room instead of meeting room. She looked at me like what are you talking about instead acting like she couldn’t understand what I was saying, which you only have one room you could reserve on the website.

I like this library, I really do. It's quite and it has wonderful vibes. Only thing I really dislike about this library is the fact that there is only one area to charge your devices. For individuals like me who love to sit alone while working would not like having to sit with others just to use this one specific outlet. Please allow the other outlets scattered throughout this location accessible for the patrions and this would be a very solid library.
