The bright, open spaces make it feel less like a traditional library and more like a cultural center. The interior is clean, organized, and thoughtfully designed to cater to diverse needs. Whether you’re here to read, study, attend events, or just relax, you’ll feel comfortable and welcomed. The staff deserves a special mention. First time in Elmhurst and delightfully surprised by modernized and welcoming library close to diverse restaurants and shops. Similarly, materials serve a diverse culture and reading areas have abundant sunlight with large windows, a gem for the community

The library itself is alright, the bathroom is sometimes unclean. The staff are majority friendly expect for two employees I've seen. However what I highly dislike are the hours in general. How is a community supposed to flourish without have a third space to do work? One that provides adequate times tor both children, teens, and adults. Truly disappointing the neighborhood doesn't have accessible places enough.

The books are great. I found most things I wanted. Some of the librarians barely help to find the books though. They just stare at their phones or computers. Why are they even there?

The best library around for studying or getting work done on a hot summer day. It’s a bright and airy space with big windows and views of the garden outside. There are several long tables with outlets so you can keep your laptop charged and the wifi is reliable. Don’t miss the reading room upstairs with floor to ceiling windows and comfy chairs.
