Nice environment, staff are helpful. There are many books, DVDs, audio books, and picture books available. Computers and internet available that can be used free of cost. You can take books home if you have a library card. They have some good reading table and seats.

Quiet, clean and very helpful staff. Convenient. Great place to visit on Saturdays if you don't have other plans... no Crowds & enough activities to keep the kids busy

Okay, here’s the thing… there’s this super insecure Black janitor at the library who seems desperate to prove himself in front of patrons. I’m just chilling in the kids’ section waiting for my daughter, and suddenly he’s all “rule enforcement” trying to kick me out! Meanwhile, over in the adult section, some white folks are yelling on their phones, and he doesn’t say a word. Fantastic… and yeah, I’m a person of color too, so that made it even better 🙃

I've been using the multiple services offered at the S.O.Pk branch for almost forty years. It isn't a huge venue. One floor accommodates comfortably users and very well selected educational materials. Enthusiast current affairs readers are rewarded with many prestigious publications, and mundane dailies. The users are quite serious about their presence at this particular site. Most parents bring their children to complete a simple application to obtain the coveted Library Csrd.
