Everytime I bring my son or daughter to this library I am ran out of there by the noise from patrons and staff. Did library culture change and maybe I missed the memo? Since when do we talk in our regular voices in a library. I live in this community, and would love to use the space however I find myself communting to you guessed it Long Island for a better learning space.

One of the librarians seated at the entrance was rude for no reason. I realized as I walked in that I had forgotten my card at home. She didn't tell me I could look my card up using my phone, she didn't seem to want to help me scan a document. She barely acknowledged me when I thanked her, despite her rudeness. I can't wait until MY local branch reopens. Central Library on Merrick, St. Albans, South Jamaica, Baisley, Rochdale Village and Cambria Heights staff would never be as rude as that lady was. If she doesn't like her job, retire.

I haven’t visited this library in several years, but I stopped by recently while I was in the neighborhood. I was happy to see that the staff were just as kind and welcoming as I remembered. Their customer service is truly amazing. Thank you to all of the Laurelton staff, I can’t wait to visit again.

My first time here was great with the customer friendly approach right from the front desk staff to the librarian. But they need to increase the time available to spend on the computer.
