Stopped by because it was conveniently open on a Sunday. The building was recently renovated (haven't been here before that). It is aesthetically pleasing and airy. There's a large selection of books, DVD's and seating. Children's section is loud, crowded, noisy and disheveled. Parking in surrounding area is very difficult.

Great experience. Taylor at the front desk was so kind and helpful and hands on helping me check out at the machine and get my account in order. Helped me reserve my books and keep everything so neat. Superb service and experience

Worst public library in Queens! I go to all of them and this one is extremely noisy and you cannot concentrate! It's like a Daycare... children running amok with their nannies and the Librarian and staff don't tell them to be quiet. Also, not a friendly staff atmosphere!!

Great selection of books, cool design, but probably the loudest library I’ve ever been to. They don’t enforce any kind of “quiet rules” you’d expect in a library. I had to endure everything from old local burnouts loudly discussing politics to yelling kids (and crying kids) to loud rude phone conversations to various constant babbling. Zero consideration. It’s honestly stupid to try and read or study there. Get your books and get out is the best bet. Oh yeah, no paper towels or soap in the restrooms either. SMH

I love this place! It always saves my weekend with a good book. Also, as a Hebrew reader, the selection of books in Hebrew is pleasantly surprising.
