April 10, 2026: it has been years I visited this library. Today I went into library and the place was dirty , not quiet at all. Decided to go to the bathroom downstairs, men’s bathroom was totally disgusting and it smelled. This place is going downhill. You have what appears like homeless individuals sitting on top of stairs. Place around outside library is dirty and disgusting. The building needs to be thoroughly redone and throughly cleaned. So sad for a beautiful building when it was built and upgraded.

I've been here many times since my childhood. It's still amazes me that the kids section staff can keep talking loudly among themselves nonstop for 20 min straight, cracking jokes with the maintenance person, while the few kids who actually want to read stays quiet. It's just sadly unprofessional. If you are a parent bringing your kids here for some quiet time, don't stay in the kids section on the first floor.

Currently closed due to safety improvements, but overall, this is a good library in the Flushing neighbourhood of Queens. I've spent whole afternoons here, and the library has services such as ESL programs and reading materials that meet the needs of the diverse community.

Quite and pleasant. Great place to do school work or just read the paper or magazine. Well funded library with more atmosphere than many local libraries

Thank you to the library staff. Thank you for your service to the homeless, those changing jobs, and the homeless—a temporary shelter. Although it's not perfect, it's already very good. I wish you all the best. God bless you.
