Providence Public Library runs several free, recurring storytime programs for young children and caregivers. Cradle to Crayons (ages 1-3) meets Tuesdays at 9:30 or 10:30am with play, socialization, stories, songs, and movement. Baby Steps (ages 0-18 months) meets Tuesdays at 11:30am with stories, songs, and rhymes for non-walkers. Outdoor Storytime (ages 0-5) is held Thursdays at 11am at the Grace Church courtyard in an interactive format; caregivers are asked to bring a blanket or chair. Family Storytime, for all ages, runs Saturdays at 11am with classic and contemporary children's books.
