This location is pretty good. Very close to the train station, the neighborhood has a variety of places to eat if you get hungry, the Tech Connect classes are pretty good, they have constant activities for everyone during the week including babies, children, teens, young adults and older adults. They are wheelchair accessible and the librarians are helpful and not super strict. I feel like ppl in general do not utilize the library as much as they should or could. I personally suggest that people should go online and check out the different activities and services the library offers. If a site closest to you does not offer what you are looking for, try and venture to other sites and see how it is, you might be pleasantly surprised. I didn't give them 5 stars because there are classes that they do not offer like language classes. Most language classes are in person and only one site offered it online via Google meet. If it was a one time class I would travel to the site. But it is a series of classes that I could not commit to traveling all the time. Each site offers what the community would be interested in so, some sites offer more than others. That's the only down side. Also the bathroom needs some renovation in my opinion but that's just me being picky. But check it out if you can or if you are in the neighborhood ๐.

My mother and I had the pleasure of attending a jewelry making class with Ms. Donna and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, especially my mother. Ms. Donna is a kind, and patient lady with a lovely personality. Our only small negative is that there was not much in variety of available supplies. Everyone should go and attend one of these classes to support Ms. Donna and the library. It happens every 2 weeks. Perhaps then the Parkchester Library will be granted additional funding to purchase more jewelry making supplies. Thank you, Ms. Donna!!!

I did classes in this library for my citizenship exam. I passed the exam recently. So I'm really grateful to Mr Kabir as he helped me tremendously and he also told me how to prepare for the citizenship exam, gave me advice on what common mistakes to avoid, and some other really useful tips as well. He even gave me some last-minute tips personally so that I could avoid making repeated mistakes. Once again, I would like to thank Mr Kabir.

In April, I took my father to the Parkchester Library to attend the English writing class with Mr. Kebir. I must say, it was a great class. I was there to assist my father, and I think he liked it as well. A big thumbs up to the Parkchester Library!

This is a lovely library with a dedicated floor for kids. The youth/teen area is on the main floor. There is an elevator. Many computer stains and decks for everyone. There are usually events throughout the week. Homework and tutoring help is offered for lower grade students. Currently closed for renovation. The closest libraries are Westchester Square or Castle Hill right now.
