Palisades Preschool offers two parent-child programs alongside its preschool. Infant Explorations serves babies 4 to 17 months and meets Friday mornings across 8-12 week sessions in fall, winter, and spring, held in an atelier setting led by an MPH facilitator and Palisades Preschool teachers. Parents can observe and discuss child development and parent-infant attachment. Toddler Explorations is for children 18 months and older (by October), with 75-minute sessions of 8 to 14 toddlers built on a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach emphasizing observation and free play. A family member or caregiver stays with each child throughout Toddler Explorations.
