Northport-East Northport Public Library runs several free, recurring storytime programs for children birth to age 5 with a caregiver. Rise & Shine Storytime is a 30-minute drop-in session of songs and stories on Saturdays at the East Northport building, no registration needed. Mondays with Molly Mouse is a 45-minute program requiring registration, offered twice each Monday at East Northport. Time for Tots: Stories and Stretches, for ages 2-5, pairs stories with movement and stretching on Tuesdays at the Northport building and also requires registration. The library additionally offers a 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten early literacy program.
