This is a quiet place where you can read, and rent books in the Bronx, it looks like one hall bungalow building.

First of all the Library is not temporarily closed. Its open for business. Perhaps if they listed the Library's hours of operations instead of giving readers the false impression that the site is closed until further notice. Went there Saturday and it was quiet and peaceful. However, the seating arrangements are terrible. The seating setup at Fordham Library is more efficient.

Great staff. A small library that packs a punch! Very easy and accessible.

I've been going to this library for 20+ years now, having used it as a kid after school to rent books and as a spot to hang out while I waited for my parents to pick me up in the afternoons. I love having seen how much the library has remodeled - it is still small and cozy, but it looks great and I always see people using the resources when I stop by to pick up some new reads. It's divided into a kid's section and an adult section. While it's small, there are a lot of recommended and new read spots that I appreciate. I love this place and hope it continues to prosper.
