This library is great for kids! The whole second floor is dedicated to kiddos. They have multiple different area for ages newborn to teen. They even have study rooms for the older kids. The people who work there have been very sweet to us and the library itself feels modern. Only negative I can think of is that I’ve gotten a cold every time I’ve gone which could be just by chance but maybe toys could be wiped down more frequently. Ive noticed the toys are always organized by staff after the kids leave but not always wiped after every use. This makes sense since there’s such a huge toy selection and it’s a big library with a lot of kids but just something to be aware of. Overall, I love the library though and appreciate it being a part of the community.

We had decided to go take a little one to the morning baby garten, but we were denied by the library staff due to having to register. Highly disappointed because I thought it was open to all babies, found this to be unequitable. The play area was interactive, but very crowded. If you do visit make sure you register if they have enough slots open. We ended up visiting the Dairy Queen across the street before walking back home.

We love the children's department located on the second floor. Great play area and classes for toddlers and older children. My grandson loves going to the library and they have a large selection of books and DVDS. I highly recommend a visit to see for yourself! 😃

We’ve travelled and visited lots of different libraries in different states. We were there during the summer and this one has one of the best children’s programs I’ve visited. Everyone I encountered was friendly and courteous. From songs, reading, and hands on crafts for the toddler classes. They put time into their program and you can tell. My boys enjoyed every class and got to walk away with a craft in hand for the month that we were in the area. As I visit other children’s programs I tend to put them against my time here and this program still sits on top.

The Randi Marston Peterson Maker Studio at Pretlow was professional and incredibly generous during my visit. I truly appreciate the quality of the graduation photos and the time they took at no charge. They also have an impressive variety of offerings.
