This was our first trip to this library. They had a lot of great areas set up for kids to play in. The girls favorite was the room with two puppet stages and plenty of puppets! There is also a small playground behind the library “)

I had a really bad encounter with a librarian. She didn’t acknowledge me, as I was in front of her. You could tell she didn’t want to be working, hated her job and didn’t want to be bothered. When I asked for help, because I couldn’t find a particular book, she pointed in the direction of the author’s books instead of getting up to show me. Told her I searched that area, and didn’t find it. She finally got up to look with me and was unsuccessful. Let her know the website said it was in house before making the drive over unless I read something wrong. To which she stated “you probably did”. She went back to her computer to do more research. She mumbled under her breath that she spelled the author’s name wrong, rolled her eyes and took me to a different area. I helped her look again and found the book. I thanked her and she just walked away back to her desk without any response. The whole experience shocked me and I wasn’t able to stand up for myself, which I normally do. I also had my toddler with me and I can’t believe I let her treat me that way in front of him. I like this library because of location, going here my whole life, and 98% of the time having a great interaction with the librarians near the entrance, but I’m not so sure I will be back.

Beautiful, quiet place to work and study. I loved that I was able to reserve a study. Room for the whole day. What a productive day!

Absolutely disgusted with how the staff acted toward a lady with kids who were having a meltdown. This poor woman was already struggling, and the staff and how the handled it was enough for me to pull my kids from their reading program. These two kids had a bit of a problem for a minute, (nobody complained) mother had got them under control and was checking out when one of the rude staff proceeded to rush over to her, take her books and comment "i think it's time staff checks you out now" while other staff laughed so the poor mom had to either sit and wait even longer, or leave..she ended up leaving and i wanted so badly to follow her and hug her. Kids will be kids, and if you're going to allow kids into an establishment , library or not.. Staff should be equipped better to handle these kids. To the short gray haired lady , you are awesome! We seen you from the other side of the library help the mother. So why the other staff acted the way the did is beyond me, and disgusting. Do better!!!

I came here to get a movie we'd been wanting to watch and I was pleasantly helped by a lady! She was friendly and welcoming. I hadn't been to this particular library location before and I was impressed at it. It was clean and well lit. It had many tables set up with various books. I was really pleased to have stopped here!
