Long Island Sports Hub runs Lil' Kickers, a soccer-based program for ages 18 months to 8 years. The youngest classes, Bunnies (18-24 months), Thumpers (2-3 years), and Cottontails (2.5-3.5 years), are parent-and-child, with a caregiver participating alongside the child on fundamental skills and independence. Older groups, Hoppers and Jackrabbits (age 3-4 and up), shift to drop-off, non-competitive team play. Coaches are trained in child development theory.
