About this class

Kindermusik of Lincoln runs weekly music and movement classes for babies through preschoolers at two locations, Bethany Christian Church and Edenton Christian Church. Level 1 (ages 3-20 months) and Level 2 (21 months-3 years) are 40-minute sessions with a parent or caregiver participating throughout. Level 3 (3-4 years) and Level 4 (4-5 years) have caregivers present but only join in for the last 5-10 minutes. The program is built around caregiver-child connection as part of social-emotional growth.

My kiddos have been a part of Ms. Shawna's wonderful Kindermusik program since they were 3 and 5. We absolutely love it, and I adore the relationship my son has built with Ms. Shawna and his peers. My kids are 5 and 7 now and we look forward to them continuing to be a part of the Kindermusik family through the summer programs that are offered!

Kindermusik is my absolute FAVORITE activity for littles in Lincoln. I’m a bit of a hippie who thinks kids mostly need free play, but this class is worth your family’s time! Shawna truly cares about her “students” and provides sign language, movement, etc that is tailored to their development. She has facilitated many moments over the past 4+ years for me to focus on connection with my kids. We’re truly grateful.
