KidStrong South Tampa | Hillsborough County, FL
About this class
Like all other KidStrong locations, this center focuses on building kids' confidence through structured 45-minute classes that mix physical challenges with character development - think obstacle courses combined with public speaking practice and friendly competition. The format is pretty consistent with clear segments like affirmations, skill-building, and competitions, so it's structured enough that shy kids feel secure but active enough that high-energy ones stay engaged. The coaches really emphasize the "I am strong, I am brave, I can do this" mentality, which honestly has carried over into how my child approaches challenges at home too. It's one of those programs where you can actually see your kiddo gaining confidence week by week, especially during those moments when parenting feels like you're just hoping something sticks.
Fair warning: don’t be surprised if your little one starts jumping around the house after class, showing off those newfound movement skills! Parents rave about how much their kids light up and can’t stop talking about the fun they had!

We have been doing kid strong with our two girls ages 4,6 for about a year now. We absolutely love it ! our girl look forward to it each week and the “level up days” when they get new shirts are our favorite. Coach Maisy and coach Diego are awesome and so wonderful with the kids. They make it fun while keeping order. The kids get to get their energy out but also learn valuable skills like ordering food, public speaking, introducing themselves, and looking people in the eye when they speak to someone. We go back and forth between FL and NY and are willing to work with our schedule. Would definitely recommend!

High energy place and super fun for three year old. A bit loud, but that’s the fun of it. Great values for kids including “I am brave, I am strong, I can do this” also eye contact, a proper introduction and handshake to boost confidence. Only poor rating was front desk communication was difficult. Loud and no one was there to answer questions. They must have other roles to play. No one welcomed us or said goodbye. We just walked in and walked straight out. Perhaps a more permanent front desk position would help run things more smoothly. But the class was great and kept us smiling the whole time!

The coaches really care … my son is autistic and his superpower knowing what kind of people he wants around him… he picks good ones. He begs to go to Kidstrong almost everyday. It’s a positive environment and I can tell he feels safe and loved

My son Ocean has always been very active and can tend to be shy to trying new things. Here he surprised me by being excited , excelling in all the challenges given and getting along with his new friends. Ocean will surely be independent and will thrive for success in the future!
