KidStrong Cotswold | Mecklenburg County, NC

About this class
Like all other KidStrong locations, this center focuses on building kids' confidence through structured 45-minute classes that mix physical challenges with character development - think obstacle courses combined with public speaking practice and friendly competition. The format is pretty consistent with clear segments like affirmations, skill-building, and competitions, so it's structured enough that shy kids feel secure but active enough that high-energy ones stay engaged. The coaches really emphasize the "I am strong, I am brave, I can do this" mentality, which honestly has carried over into how my child approaches challenges at home too. It's one of those programs where you can actually see your kiddo gaining confidence week by week, especially during those moments when parenting feels like you're just hoping something sticks.
Parents mention that their little ones eagerly share stories from class, often mimicking the fun movements they've learned, which adds a sprinkle of joy to their day.

I have seen real improvement in my son’s confidence and physical abilities. He loves going to KidStrong. Coaches are supportive and challenging where appropriate. The classes have a good mix of things kids can do and some things that take more work and are a greater challenge. KidStrong encourages parents to cheer and clap for all the kids as you See them progress. The kids really love the encouragement not just from their own care givers but other adults As well.

Kidstrong is awesome! We have been members since they first opened and I have nothing but positive things to say about them. The coaches are so engaging with the kids, they are super enthusiastic, energetic and fun, my kids love coming to class. I especially love the class activities and challenges, it gets the kids excited and I love to see them working together in teams and having friendly competition with one another. It’s not just physical fitness, I love that they teach the kids leadership skills, how to collaborate with one another, how to be kind and respectful, the list goes on. I love how they reward the children with the coaches award and teach them how to be a leader as class captain. The center is always clean, and we are always greeted with a friendly welcoming smile. 2 thumbs up! We recommend it to everyone we know!

We had our first KidStrong experience as a guest at a birthday party a few months ago and I knew it would be an awesome place for my son to attend camp and I was right. The weeklong summer day camp was incredible for my high-energy 4.5yo boy. The staff was great, it was all very clean and organized, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who asks.

We love KidStrong! The coaches work so well with our toddler and he has grown tremendously since his first session. If you’re looking for an environment that teaches manners, confidence, focus, etc. this is the place!

We are relatively new to Kid Strong, but I cannot speak highly enough about the experience! The coaches are absolutely fantastic, especially with my autistic son. They are patient, understanding, and really know how to engage him in a positive way. My boys absolutely look forward to Kid Strong day each week—they can’t wait to get there! It’s such a great environment that encourages growth and development, both physically and mentally. Highly recommend!
