Absolutely amazing experience with each midwife. Would recommend to anybody who is looking for midwifery care in Juneau. We felt heard, appreciated, and cared for with every single visit, all the way leading up to the birth, and even after.

Juneau Family Birth Center has been such a special and meaningful part of my first pregnancy. From the very first visit, I felt prioritized, safe, and truly heard. Every question I had was answered with care, and any anxieties I brought in were met with validation and knowledge, leaving me feeling empowered instead of overwhelmed. The environment is warm, welcoming, and exactly the kind of place I wanted to bring my baby into. It set me up to feel confident and supported as I step into motherhood, and I’m so grateful for that. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll feel respected, informed, and genuinely cared for, I can’t recommend these amazing midwives enough!

I would rate them 10/5 for how excellent they all are!! Beyond happy to have had two births through them. They are all very sweet and make you feel like family. They do everything all natural. No epidurals, pain mend, or toxic glucose drinks which I love. I would definitely go through them every time!

I cannot recommend the birth center enough. The midwives are amazing and supported me so well through this journey. I used them for prenatal and postpartum care as well, and was very impressed with the whole process. I love that they come to your house frequently after the birth, it was an amazing support as we figured out life with our little one.

The birth center has been a WONDERFUL experience! From prenatal appointments monthly/weekly prior to birth, and throughout labor and birth, the midwives at Juneau Family Birth Center are amazing! They provide timely information and guidance throughout pregnancy without overwhelming you, and listen to your questions/concerns with respect to your personal decisions. They were clear on what to expect during birth, and made sure me and baby were safe and healthy throughout. They continued to take care of us after birth as well, with quick and responsive communication. So thankful to have these wonderful women by my side! Thank you, midwives!
