Beautiful building, great staff and in a great location. It is a pity it is filthy and rundown inside. I pray we can find ways to warpspeed desperately-needed improvements to our critical civic institutions!

Great staff - very receptive, patient, and resourceful! FYI - this library has a lot of programs tailored for children, so keep that in mind.

Amazing well kept and very clean library for all ages. Awesome entire top floor for children of all ages. I been going to this library 📚 for more than 15 years with children past and present. Great location with playground right next door. Only problem I have with this library years now and still till this day, there’s no elevator to go to the top floor with children and their strollers_ you have to leave the stroller on the first floor and climb the steps. Next, there’s no ramp to enter the library_ so you have to lift or pull the stroller up few steps to enter the library. Just wish they would put a mini ramp to make it easier with strollers to get inside. Otherwise superb library !

A gem of a charming spot to sit and read in a leafy corner off the beaten track. The librarian was so kind to help me find th e right resources to do my taxes. Thank you!

This was the big Village library way before anyone ever dreamed of one in the Jefferson Market Courthouse. As a teenager in the sixties, this was my go to library. It was nice and warm on the coldest January day. No wifi, no charging stations necessary in those days. Just homework and books to take out. Today, after a renovation, still the place to go. Big rooms, comfortable chairs, plugs for the devices. Wonderful staff. Downstairs on Thursdays, movies are shown in a large screening room. You can not do better in the Village for a library!
