High Bridge Library | The Bronx, NY

The front desk staff here are always welcoming and helpful . They do their best to answer all questions you may have , and always keep people up to date on any events the library hosts. I’ve been coming to this library for a long time , since the early 2000’s before the renovations . Glad to have them in the neighborhood . Keep up the good work guys !

The staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. Also half of the desk tops do not work.

Pretty small selection in books but you're sure to find something you'll like. Its a cozy library but the staff isnt the friendliest. They get annoyed when you ask questions and 30 mins before the library closes they shutter the lights on and off like children. I guess thats code for "get out"

Never had a negative experience here. This is our go-to library for comics and graphic novels bc out of all the libraries we use, I think they do the best job of curating that section. Good kids/YA section with a cute reading nook for small kids to preview books. If it wasn’t up a giant hill from us we’d be here every weekend.
