Head Over Heels Gymnastics | Shelby County, AL

We love HOH! Our 5 year old daughter just started this year (Jan 2022) but is already enjoying it so much! She always looks forward to going because of how much fun she has, how kind the instructors are, and getting to play with new friends. Her skills have already improved to advance to the next level in just 3 months! They're a great place to have kids birthday parties, attend summer camp, and she loves the monthly parents night out parties with pizza & play! It's been around for a long time - our nieces who are grown up young adults now attended when they were little and loved it. That's how we found about them. The staff & coaches have always been warm, welcoming & helpful. It's nice having the bleachers to watch your kid's class and if we have another child we'll start sooner with the baby & toddler mommy & me class. Would definitely recommend this place to other parents!

Went in and watched my granddaughter do her gymnastics class or her nastics class as she calls it. They jumped on the launch board, walked a beam, did a forward somersault, walked a beam and wall, started learning a cartwheel, jumped on a trampoline, worked on somersaults on a bar, climbed on a horizontal ladder, did the pelican, and slid down the slide. In general, they had a lot of fun while working on some basics.

My 7 yr old loves this place! The coaches and staff there are all super nice and helpful, and they've really brought the best out of my little one. Head Over Heels is the place to go if you have a child who's interested in gymnastics!!

We had our sons 4th Birthday party at Head Over Heels and it was THE BEST experience! The 3 girls that were in charge of the party were superb. They had so many different activities for the kids and supervised each activity so we knew the kids were safe without stress! When it was time to cut the cake and eat, they did absolutely everything and I just stood there enjoying my kids party. When it was time to leave, I was getting ready to load all of the gifts and things that I brought, and before I could turn around they had everything loaded into my car! It was such a good experience, we will definitely be back!

Love HOH! My granddaughter started taking gymnastics here at age 3 and she is 5 now. She loves it here, too. The coaches are experienced and well trained. Their method of teaching engages even the youngest of students and holds their attention. Class sizes are small enough so that each child gets plenty of attention. We have had a great experience here since day 1. I highly recommend Head Over Heels!
