We’ve been attending Goldfish Gowanus for years - it’s the best! Rare to find a facility that scores high on all fronts - wonderful staff and teachers; clean, modern and child-friendly environment; warm pool. Whoever does the hiring and training here deserves a huge shoutout. Every single coach we’ve had has been safe / attentive, kind and patient. My daughter is now in swim force (swim club), and the coaches are great with the older kids too! They encourage them to work hard and keep pushing, but are also playful and fun! Special shoutouts to Omar, Dante, Neo, Jamie, John, Jacob and Xavier. Thank you for being a reliable and fun experience in our lives, Goldfish Swim!

Excellent swim school. I give them 5 stars because the teachers are amazing and the staff is top-notch. My son absolutely loves it here! I also want to highlight their integrity: I once left my tablet behind by mistake, and not only did they call me immediately to put my mind at ease, but they even charged it for me while they waited for me to pick it up. It’s rare to find a place that cares this much about their families. Highly recommended!

We’ve had such a great experience at Goldfish Swim School – Gowanus! The entire staff is warm, patient, and genuinely invested in helping kids feel confident in the water. The pool is always clean and comfortably warm, which makes a huge difference for younger swimmers. My child looks forward to every lesson — the instructors make learning fun while still focusing on safety and skill development. I also appreciate how organized the front desk team is; scheduling and check-ins are super easy. The small class sizes mean lots of individual attention, and I’ve seen real progress week after week.

I am writing to express my gratitude and provide some positive feedback regarding my daughter Scarlett's experience at your swim school. She has been attending classes for a while now, and I am pleased to say that she has genuinely connected with several members of your staff. However, I would like to specifically highlight her swimming teacher, Justin. Justin has been exceptional in his role, and Scarlett really looks forward to her classes with him. Under his guidance, Scarlett has shown remarkable improvement in her swimming skills and has become much more comfortable in the water. His teaching methods and dedication have clearly made a significant impact on her progress. Thank you for providing such a supportive and nurturing environment for Scarlett.

there is no regulation for adults. everyone comes grandma, grandpa, friends, cousins, uncles, neighbors and that's why there is no room! this should be regulated so that only their parents accompany the children, not the company of 10 people. this is very annoying. however, the staff does a perfect job. they are kind, helpful. the place is also clean and modern! it is a very good school, only that there are 4x more adults than children
