Flores Neighborhood Library | Harris County, TX

oh my gosh. a plethora of information from the employees there. and they are talented as well it seems. there are some paintings done by an employee on the walls of the library itself! I was very happy to stop in and use my library card to its fullest. the library was being maintained by lightning being installed.. very happy to see that. the library was dedicated or finished by 1982. the mayor at that time was Miss Whitmire. she is up for election for judge as of now. I was there during the last tropical depression about a year and a half ago for their freestanding electricity. must go to library in the city of Houston. :)

Loved this lovely library. This library is a little smaller than other Houston public library’s, and thereby has a little less election. However, the quaint ambience of this place was great if you ever want to go study, read, or exist somewhere without needing to pay anything. I love looking in their selection. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the employees there. Make sure you check the hours, they vary day today, and the day you were going might not be the day they are open late. I can’t recommend this library enough though.

This is a nice, quiet neighborhood library. There is a large selection of children's books. The adult fiction selections are limited and dated. That is understandable because the library was flooded during Hurricane Harvey and the COVID-19 pandemic happened. I look forward to new books arriving.
