The library is small, but mighty. I really appreciate the activities they put together. It’s clear, with how smoothly the events run, how much time and effort goes into planning them. The library goes above and beyond to secure funding to provide books to accompany these events. I appreciate their commitment to diverse story times for kids. Their children’s section is warm and friendly. Their location is conveniently located across the street from a rec center which is utilized for summer story times and rounding off a trip to the library with time to get the wiggles out.

This is not my neighborhood library but I had a great experience visiting for an author event. The author's talk was entertaining and educational. The Friends of the Library group purchased 40 books that they provided for free to audience members, letting the youngest people choose first. My family had a great time and enjoyed being in a space where LGBTQ+ people were affirmed and celebrated.

A lovely library for the neighborhood! It's right next to the park so it's a great place for kiddos to sit and read once they've blown off some steam running around, and they have really good programs for kids of all ages (and sensory needs!). Lots of adult programming too, resources for people in the neighborhood, connections to local clubs and communities, etc. Librarians are all friendly and helpful! We love visiting!!

We absolutely love this little library! They have a great selection of books for kids, they have art projects you can take home with you and they’re always so friendly and helpful. My daughter is 4 and she loves it.

Nestled in the heart of Fishtown, the Community Library emerges as a beacon of knowledge and cultural enrichment. This branch of the Free Library of Philadelphia is more than just a repository of books; it’s a lively center where the threads of community weave together. With its doors open to all, it offers an array of services from Wi-Fi and computer access to engaging programs that spark curiosity across generations. It stands as a testament to the power of learning and the importance of accessible information in nurturing the growth of a vibrant neighborhood.
