We love the Children's adventure garden! I used to be a volunteer here over 15yrs ago and it's so cool to watch my kiddos enjoy it now. Always check before you visit to see what kind of fun activities they'll be doing at the Children's garden. When we went, we got to plant Venus fly traps and take them home with us! My son loves his new buddy. They had a lot of other arts and crafts activities as well. Definitely recommend visiting.

The botanical garden itself is breathtaking every season of the year full of beautiful colors an inspiring smells. Also you have this activity center right next to the picnic area. Your kids will enjoy every piece of it including the ‘build your own nest’, the tulips, the pond and the incredible opportunity to witness nature at its best.

Absolutely fabulous time. A fantastic place to go to. Extremely beautiful place. The only problem is that the parking when there is horrible ! Otherwise it's very worth it to see.

This was the perfect place to take my 2nd graders for our science unit. The kids are learning about Pollination and sharing the planet and human impact on the environment. There were so many classes on a trip to the Botanical Gardens. First we walked the grounds a bit, then we had lunch. When we got to the Everett center we waited at the gate for our tour guide to come and get us. The children where taught the different parts of a flower and they were asked questions about what they already knew. She gave them interesting information and used a hand puppet to model how the process works. The students dissected and studied their own flowers. They were taken to a garden to observe bees and butterflies, they collected data on what they saw. Also later they analyzed seed and planted a keepsake plant. It was truly lovely and though there were so many schools it ran smoothly due to the system and organization of the touring. We absolutely loved it.

We went for the Kusama exhibition where "Kids Get Cosmic". The children's garden is decorated with the kasuma theme throughout and has a range of activities for kiddos to engage. Story time, arts and crafts and scavenger hunts. It was a nice visit.
