Went to visit this center and saw other employees get mad at kids visiting for skipping rocks and touching the crabs as well as the employee that was watching them. What do you expect, it’s called a science center they are meant to explore if that’s a problem be clear to say that before the tour and be nice about how the way you address it. The staff was completely disrespectful and out of line. I was completely disappointed with the visit. Bathroom were also filthy and smelled foul. How can a center talk about customers disrespecting the center by skipping rocks in water and touching crabs when the center doesn’t even keep the place clean. If I was the staff i’d be more courteous to the customers especially the kids, clear with instructions, and cleaner overall. In order to expect certain expectations from customers you also have to be able to provide satisfactory service and from what i saw today not many were satisfied. Also noticed the woman that seemed to be in charge of the institution was yelling at the children on the field trip and was entirely rude the entire time. I hope someone at the center addresses and does something about her attitude because she is entirely over the top and needs to relax. How you present yourself to customers at your institution will reflect just exactly how you run your institution and how you treat your employees. They need to have someone else in charge interacting with the customers if she gonna be in a bad mood the entire time.
